Frequently asked questions

What level of Arabic do I need?

This workshop is designed for intermediate to advanced learners who can hold a basic conversation in Levantine Arabic but want to go deeper. If you can order food, give directions, and make small talk — but struggle with nuanced conversation, cultural references, or natural expression — this is for you. Complete beginners should start with one of our beginner-friendly courses first.

What's included in the €149 price?

Everything: both full-day sessions (Sunday & Monday, 9 AM–5 PM), all workshop materials, 2 full plant-based lunches, morning and afternoon refreshments both days, and a small-group experience with a maximum of 8 participants.

Where exactly is the workshop held?

At the Aiwa Amiya space on 82 Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi Street in Amman. It's a beautiful open-air terrace with stone walls and greenery — designed for comfort and connection, not a sterile classroom.

I have dietary restrictions — can you accommodate?

All meals are plant-based and prepared with locally sourced ingredients. If you have specific allergies (gluten, nuts, etc.), let us know when you register and we'll do our best to accommodate.

What should I bring?

Just yourself, a notebook, and comfortable clothes. We provide all materials, food, and refreshments. The space is partly open-air, so dress for the weather — a light jacket can help in April mornings.

Can I get a refund if I cancel?

Full refund if you cancel 14+ days before the workshop. 50% refund for 7–13 days. No refund within 7 days, but you can transfer your spot to someone else.

Is there accommodation nearby?

We don't provide accommodation, but there are many options nearby in central Amman. We're happy to recommend hostels, hotels, and Airbnbs in the area when you register.

Will I get a certificate?

This is an immersive experience, not a formal course — so no certificate. What you will get is real confidence, real practice, and real connections with people who understand your journey.
